Case

To uphold Porsche’s innovation and luxury standards, continuous efforts are made to make the app more intuitive, refined, and sophisticated.

A redesign of the main page was essential to elevate the user experience and integrate advanced features such as climate control, intelligent remote controls, service reminders, car finder, driving statistics and charging management for seamless connectivity and greater convenience.

Idea

One of the core challenges of the Porsche app’s homepage is managing and prioritizing the varying number of features and services across different models. In the past, this has led to technical workarounds rather than elegant user-focused solutions.

The proposed solution follows a user-centered approach, allowing users to customize their own tile layout within the slide-up panel. This panel consolidates key functions in one easily accessible location, while also freeing up space for a dynamic vehicle showcase. The animated model elegantly displays the vehicle’s current status, model, and configuration, enhancing both usability and visual appeal.

Stage

In addition to the bottom sheet, the animated stage plays a central role. It showcases the Porsche model in the selected color and configuration, illustrating its current status — such as open doors, front and rear hoods, and active lights. Moreover, it is used to visually highlight potential issues and guide users through their resolution.
